In this edition, we’re highlighting Brendan McConkie, owner of Kirkland Property Solutions LLC, who built his company from the ground up by combining his passion for hands-on work with a commitment to quality and integrity.
Brendan’s story began with a knack for fixing things around the house, a skill he picked up from his dad and grandfather. What started as helping family with small remodeling jobs quickly grew into a business when he was asked to take on larger projects, like roofing. "I wasn’t trained, but I learned as I went," Brendan says, explaining how he took the leap and founded Kirkland Property Solutions. Over time, he built his business on the philosophy that if he didn’t have the expertise in certain areas, he would hire professionals who did, ensuring every project was completed the right way. His focus on quality has been the backbone of his business, from remodeling kitchens and bathrooms to finishing basements and more.
Brendan envisions Kirkland Property Solutions becoming a household name in Midland, known for high standards and reliable work. Specializing in full-service remodeling, he and his team handle everything from start to finish, bringing in licensed and insured electricians and plumbers to ensure each project is done professionally. Brendan values the importance of doing things right, and he hopes that as his business grows, he can give back even more to the community that has supported him along the way. As he puts it, “The more business we get, the more opportunities we have to help the community.”
